“Hi my name is Mark Alten, I am the owner of Alten Dog Training. I have been involved in some kind of animal training since I was 12 years old. My two brothers and I are falconers and have enjoyed training and hunting with hawks and falcons for many years. Many falconers use dogs in the field and I was frequently drawn to why some dogs worked well and some didn’t. I later found out, it all had to do with the training the dog received as well as understanding and utilizing what the dog does naturally. This led me to researching dog training and eventually becoming certified through Animal Behavior College. Helping people provide their dogs with the proper training so they can become loved and loyal family members for years to come, is what Alten Dog Training is all about.” -Mark Alten
